This energy might feel overwhelming at first because thats how it was for me as well but it’s all part of what makes university life in Iqra so exciting. Everyone’s busy, but there’s also a strong sense of community once you find your footing.

Iqra attracts students from all over the country and across fields like Media Sciences, Business Administration, Fashion Design, Computer Science, and Psychology. This diversity shows up not just in your classrooms, but also in your friend circles and group projects.

Expect to meet people with different backgrounds, goals, and perspectives. And yes, networking starts from day one.

Academic Life: Fast-Paced but Flexible

Iqra is academically rigorous, especially when it comes to deadlines. Courses are project-heavy, especially in creative departments, and you’ll quickly learn the art of balancing multiple assignments while attending back-to-back classes.(It will make you cry though-no exaggerations😭)

That said, the university offers flexibility in learning. Professors encourage critical thinking, class discussions are common, and students often get the chance to pitch unique ideas. If you’re into media or design, expect practical work, filming, editing, presenting not just theory.

Tip: Get familiar with Google Classroom, Canva, and Adobe tools early. They’ll become your best friends by midterms.

Student Life: More Than Just Books

If you think university is only about lectures and assignments, think again. Iqra’s student life is rich with clubs, societies, and events. From drama productions to entrepreneurship competitions, there’s always something happening.

Enjoying your university life is as important as working hard for your degree so if you really want to enjoy your university life then i would personally recommend you to join a club.

What Freshers Should Know (That No One Tells You-Learned From Personal Experiences)

Get to campus early-parking and good seats disappear fast.

Say yes to orientation events-it’s the easiest way to make friends.

Always back up your work-laptops crash right before submissions.

Balance is key-socializing is fun, but missing classes can tank your GPA fast.

Professors are approachable-but don’t wait until the last minute to ask for help.

Your first semester at Iqra University will be a mix of nerves, excitement, and probably more caffeine than you’ve ever consumed before. Atleast that's how it was for me. But once you settle in, you’ll realize it’s not just a place to get a degree, it’s where you’ll grow into your future self.
